The Workshop

Amy’s Felting Workshops are held on her balcony overlooking
Murray Bank’s green lawns and lake. The river makes its way yonder: you can stroll there in
the mornings, to warm up before the days felting.

Amy brings the craft of felting to life. You’ll learn about various methods of felting,
use of materials, painting and dyeing. You’ll learn the nuno-felting technique, creating your
own pieces of finest gossamer using super fine merino wool and pure silk.

Nuno-felting can be used to make scarves, shawls, ponchos and throws, table runners and
wallhangings. The possibilities are limitless; your imagination is free to run wild.
Of course nourishing the body is not forgotten, with home-made lunches and refreshments
served throughout the workshop.

Amy’s Felting Workshops are a chance to spend a fun weekend with friends. You’ll leave
feeling refreshed, inspired and full of ideas for future projects.

About Murray Bank Set it is on 16 acres with Murray River frontage, our units
are spotless, spacious and tastefully decorated. Fully self-contained featuring beautiful balcony
views or a private garden.

 

The Details

The Felting Worshop Package includes two nights accomodation (2 or 4
share) at Murray Bank. We’ll serve a light breakfast in your unit + lunch and afternoon tea during each day’s workshop. Of course we provide you with your pack of felting wools.

Places are limited to 4 people per Workshop. All this is $250pp.
